Can\'t post pictures

I just spent ages trying to post pictures of a recent trip to Caen but the photos don't appear when I preview.

I'm sure I'm doing it just like I have in the past. Does posting image links from photobucket still work ?

Unless it s changed in the last few days the answer is No - nothing has changed. I posted pics via photobucket 10 days or so ago.

On photobucket make sure that you click the direct link to copy the path to your photo, then click the image markup link in the edit post dialogs and copy the path to photobucket into it?

use the bottom option copy, then come here and paste.

Are you clicking ...."Copy" on the.... DIRECT LINK ? in Photobucket.

IMG code is easier, puts the picture straight on here. no need to open from photobucket

It doesn't like the spaces in the file name that you are trying to post - rename without the spaces and make sure that it has .jpg or similar as the file extension and it will then work.

I've recently had a problem with Photobucket.
I've just rebuilt/reloaded my computer from scratch though so I was thinking it was me.

Photobucket used to copy the link to the Windows clipboard when you click the link in the IMG field - see here.

I've probably got something set wrong but it isnt copying the link - to make it work I have to hit Cntrl C when the IMG field is selected for it to copy the link to the clipboard - apart from that everything else works.

Mike, for what it's worth, I've found that photobucket seems to have removed the auto copy feature and now have to copy and paste the old fashioned way, but it still works.

or could it be something to do with web browsing, single click or double click, I'm set to single click /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
