Canopy thingies needed

My poor old canopy is looking the worst for wear (as am I, but this isn't the place for that story)

Does anybody know where I can buy things like zips and press studs for it? (preferably at realistic rather than marine prices)

Is there a DIY way of fastening the zips in rather than buying an industrial sewing machine?

Try Martex. They will manufacture a sprayhood or will supply any bits at very reasonable prices. They do exhibit at most boat jumbles and the owner is very helpfull. They are based at a farm near Nantwich and are one of the very few companies that do not attempt to rip off boat owners. Cannot speak highly enough of these people.Phone 01270 522251. They advertise in PBO, sometimes under Boat Covers.
