I want to repair or canopy and need to buy some UV resistant thread to re sow zips and replace some stitching.

Anybody know where I can buy some. Also I want to make some hatch covers to protect the internal wood work from UV so will need some canvass etc.

If anybody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it
Thanks

You need 100% polyester thread for UV resistance - not polyester cotton. Gutterman is a recognised brand. You can get it in your local sewing/craft shop or from Ebay.

For material, I bought a 10m roll of Cordura of Ebay and have used it to make cockpit cushions, halyard bags, covers etc. I found it very easy to work with using a normal domestic sewing machine.
