Just had a new canopy fitted and they have put the little plastic "stand off" things on the tubes to hold the plastic windows away from the steel.. The problem is that its still touching in the middle of the longer lengths of tube..

Any suggestions on what would work better? or should I just get more of the stand off things and add them until it no longer touches??

When JB made my current covers, they also made some sleeves for the steel tubes where the tube would otherwise touch the windows. I was a bit sceptical at first, but three years on it's proved to be a good solution.

Yep, just get more of the plastic widgets.

I too had sleeves made from the same material as the canopy. The were held on with Velcro so easy to take off and I thought it looked great and certainly protected the windows.

I used adhesive lined heatshrink tubing and a good heat gun, been on the frames for 6 years now and not had any problems. The upside is they are not as cold to grab during the winter
