Trouble here - we usualyy get the tail-end of UK weather 2 - 3 days later ...

Last couple off days it's been grey, windy and threats of rain.

The advantage of course is being a river and inland ... no rough waters ..
It can be deceptive though ... I think Lake Sailor and other inland wtaers people would bear me out on this ... often you look at the wtaer and think - Hey thats fine ... you get out there and wind is stronger than you thought ... the water doesn't have the "fetch" to create the waves etc. as you get at sea. (LS I know with Lake can get exceedingly rough in extremes).
