Does anybody know of a good source of up to date cruising infomation for the Canary Islands, online or in print. I am particularly interested in details of all weather anchorages and an idea of how busy marinas and anchorages get during the winter months. All comments gratefully received.

Try the Canaries Cruising Guide. Its not expensive, about A5 size and very imformative.

You will struggle to find an all weather anchorage. Coralejo at the north end of Fuertaventura may just do it.

I like the Canaries, enjoy!!

We are currently anchored in Puerto de Naos Arrecife Lanzarote. We have been told that it is even more secure from all wind directions than the marinas, many of whom are well protected from the prevailing north/ north east winds, but open to the south west gales. It is a bit grotty, but free, and freindly. More info on request- they are going to be building a marina here soon, but don't know exactly when
