Can you use 'King' in boat name?

Hi,
having acquired a new boat, I am considering changing the name. It would be King Arthur, as my previous boat was named Merlin + Arthur as its my son's middle name. I never seen Queen or King used in boat name in UK and since country being monarchy I would like to check first if I won't break any customs.

I don't see why not, HMS ROB's official name is Queen Elizabeth. Unless you go part 1 register it's just text on a transom.

Its a common surname. It may even be a common, but less common, given name.

A tune is called "Mr. Swing King" and there are King, Queen and Princess in make or models names. Plenty.

Think you can name your boat Anything - if you like.
