Hello,

This is my new boat. If any one could help me identify it I would be really happy.

The boat is 14'4" long and I think it was built for the BP Corporation somewhere on the South Coast. Southampton or Poole we think. It has a Wortham Blake Fisher Boy inboard engine and the name of the boat is Pipedream.

That is as much as I know.
Cheers,
Rick

Conned is a bit harsh Lakey /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Looks like he could do with a few more bunks and rollers on the trailer though.
Welcome to the forum /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Take no notice of the rancid old farts on here, especially that Lakey bloke, he's just jealous anyway! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can't help you with info about your boat, but she looks a nice little classic runabout. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It is funny you say that. Roy Walker lives in my stables!!!

It looks like the boat out of Indiana Jones and last cruisade... I'm ready to die... are you Dr Jones. (or something like that)

Should of called this thread... Identify my house, looks like an ex water board house, you next to a lake? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Water Board? No!

Lake? No!

It is on top of a hill near-ish to High Wycombe.

I might just sell the house.
it seems to be quite popular!!!

Eeeee arrrrrrr Eeeeeee. There a hard lot on here some times, this sort of banter is generally confined to the lounge, but with opening lines like

and with a very nice pad in the background,

Well then you are asking for some witty remarks from the old school.
I must add very much respected peeps indeed.
All in good fun with no malice intended I am sure.
We don't do nasty on Classic.
For me I have a early 1950 Wooden "plug" of an "Albatross" which was production built in Aluminium at Southampton in the 50s/60s That looks very much similar to the lines of your boat.
They did a twin cockpit or 4 seater I understand.
Cheers enjoy the forum there "is" lots of help and good clean fun to be had here on Classic.
May be if you posted a few more details as to the power plant and transmission, and some pics of different angles it would help to nudge others.

I think I have seen one before....

The bottom of the hull had been cut out and then it had been mounted on the chassis of a Reliant Robin.....

I had a ride on it... 40MPH around the Gloucester Ring Road /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I thought the Albatross was built in Norfolk?

Thank you for the correction you are absolutely right.
I was under the impression they where on Southampton water near Calshot. don't know where that came from but was obversely quite wrong. I have not done a lot of research I have a video and may be it could be I thought it was Southampton I must dig it out and have another look.
I have found this about them. here
also here

I live on Southampton water, can see Calshot from where I am typing this.

Notable motor boat builders round here are Fairey Marine, British Power Boat Co and Ramparts.
