We had to pass really close to a large lifeboat on Tuesday as it hovered by the pontoons at the lifeboat college. When I say close, I mean about 20 feet or so. As we passed, our GPS rebooted itself. I spoke to the RNLI this morning and they were very helpful, but unaware of anything that could have caused this to happen.
Does anyone have a similar experience when passing close to a lifeboat? If not. we are going to be worried that they GPS (integral antennae) is about to curl up its toes
