I see that you can download the software for a Mac or Windows laptop but no mention of a download to an SD card to insert into a chart plotter. I there any way to view the data on the chart plotter. I have a B&G Zeus and NME 2000 system and MacBook Pro. Thanks

I think you are mixing up the application which the hardware runs with the chart set that is used by that application.
OpenCPN is the application which will run several different chart sets. A Chart Plotter runs its own proprietary application, some will accept a few chart set formats.

Thanks for your reply. That makes sense. So, are there any "free" chart sets that I could use with the Zeus plotter?

Zeus plotter uses C Map cartography according to the sales splurb but I've no idea if it could handle a home grown C Map cartrage.
CM 93 has been available for a long time as an unofficial download but again, I don't know if its format is compatible.

Unless you chart plotter runs a Windows or Mac operating system it would not. I run mine on a mini 12Vdc PC with its own TV /monitor display
