Can we leave the fridge freezer on?

We have a keel-cooled fridge/freezer and want to leave it running while we are out of the water for cleaning and antifouling, over several days to a week or so. Is it OK to leave it running? Does the condensor get very hot - will it still work efficiently enough to keep the frozens frozen, or should we empty it?

Many thanks.

If its the fridgeoboat type then you can leave it on but the frigde wont work very well unless you reconnect the fan by the compressor and turn it back to a "standard" unit.

Thanks. I've just checked ours - an Isotherm - to find that there is a fan running at the moment - I am beginning to think that maybe it isn't keel-cooled, though that's what I'd been told. I'd had stuff in that space blocking the airflow on the understanding that is is keel-cooled, so it will be interesting to see whether the duty cycle drops now that I have provided a good airflow.
