I looking for some help. i purchased a small boat recently (second hand ) and would like to know what make/model it is. it was listed as a day cuiser/sea boat , split front screen type.
It's 16 feet long and was bult by MARINA BOAT LTD in SOLIHULL (Tried to contact, but, no luck. ). It has a 10 HP (which i think is too small) so, would also like to find out what outboard is suitable?.Have attached photos for reference. Many thanks for any replies. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

try searching such sites as boats and outboards, and ebay.. search firstly for "marina" then try "marina 16"... etc. iv'e seen these boats listed, from memery most seem to be fitted with 15-20 hp outboards. should make a good day boat, or trailerable fishing boat.

good luck with her.

The boat in the picture is a Marina 16. I used to have one fitted with a Mercury 40hp outboard. I seem to remember that they were rated to about 60hp. I found the 40hp a little underpowered when loaded but capable of about 25 knots + light. I was pleased with the boat and it handled quite well in the coastal conditions of the Bristol channel.
