Can someone shed some light on this

Hi all, bought my first boat about 4 months ago and been in and out on her every weekend but i was wondering if anyone knew a little more about the her make, she is a 15ft seasafe with a plaque on the bulkhead saying she was built in glastonbury, thanks all, Robert

A Seasafe Dandy? had one in the 70's with a 6hp Yamaha which I hired out for fishing on the Clyde. Were popular in their day and seemed to be well built given the use mine had!!

My first "sea-boat" that was given to me by a mate and which had a Mercury 9.8 on it. On 1st trip out and after having had a service the engine seized!!
Mine had an orange superstructure and I agree that she was quite solidly built.

Even as a sail type, somehow 'Seasafe Dandy' came to mind; pretty sure 'Small Boat' magazine did a review ( think there was an option with a small sailing rig I seem to remember ? ); there's an off-chance I may have a copy if interested.
