Can somebody please tell me....

how you reduce a picture to 100x100 pixels so that it can be added to your profile?

Quickest way using the default tools and assuming you are running windows is:

Open the picture with MSPAINT
right click the picture and choose “OPEN WITH”
you should have an option to us ‘PAINT’ – select this
then select the ‘IMAGE’ button and use the resize or attributes buttons to
set the pixel sizes.

If you have a more sophisticated package on the PC then you can usually set the PIXEC size in the SAVE as button.

I managed that alright but then all I got was the top left hand corner of the photo.(there would be a very confused & screwed up face icon after this post if I knew how to use them too)lol

As you have discovered "Paint" does not do resizing but there are plenty of free or on line resizing programs to choose from if you do not have a photo editor.

If you have MS Office then among the MS Office tools you will find MS Picture Manager. That will re-size BUT be careful you don't lose the original. Making a copy and re-sizing the copy is the safest thing to do.

Having discovered that "HP Image Vone Plus" which is installed on my computer can do this job I succesfully re sized a photo & then tried uploading it to this site.
Result; It shows succesfully in "Your Current Profile Picture" but then when you "Save Changes" you get the message "Upload of file lailed."Does anybody know why this is?
