Can I use my Mastervolt 24/80 - 3 charger with LifePo4 domestic batteries?

At present I have eight 6v Trojan lead acid batteries (24v with 6v x 4 in series x 2). They are now pretty much knackered and its time to replace them Can I use Lithium batteries without having to change the charger?

thanks

It depends on how you use your boat. I am assuming the charger doesn't have a lithium setting?
How many amps is the charger? How many amps is the alternator? One option is to install a DC/DC charger from your engine batteries to your new lithium and connect the existing charger to the lead engine start batteries. The charging of the lithium will be limited to the output of the DC/DC charger, so probably less than your shorepower charger.
