Hi everyone

I've just gone and bought myself a second hand wayfarer and I'm trying to get it to my local sailing club (birmingham). But no one at the club seems to have a suitable road base to move it. Does anyone have one I could borrow for a day? Am willing to pay a reasonable hire fee if it helps :)

yours hopefully...

I am 1 hour north of Carlisle just of M74 if you wish to borrow my combo trailer for the wayfarer. No charge, just collect and return. It’s a bit out you’re way but if stuck, no probs.

If it is on a launching trolley you could maybe just strap it down on a car transport trailer? I think there are places that hire those out for about 40/day. I've got broken boat trailers back home that way, although not with a boat on top.

Don't know where in Birmingham you are but Indespension in Halesowen hire trailers at least when I lived in Halesowen they did and google also says they do.

Thanks for all the responses! I did speak to indespension, they said they don't do boat trailers. I've been told about the possibility of strapping it upside-down to a flatbed but I'm a bit new to all this so at this stage would be more confident of I could find a trailer that was made for the job...
