Can anyone help me with a Rigging Checklist in Excel or Word ?

My New Year resolution is to check the standing rigging on my Dehler 39 thoroughly and regularly then record the results.
It was watching the PBO You Tube vid by Jerry the Rigger that convinced me that I should be more systematic and detailed in my inspections (for once I wasn't indulging myself watching videos of 18ft skiff racing)
I want to be able to record all the checks I make in a form on an annual basis. I know I can build a form myself in Excel, but it would be good to have something to start from.

I would start with what Jerry the Rigger mentioned in the video, do an inspection of the rig top to bottom and add items as required. Personally I don't keep a record of the rig but have a general look whenever I go up the mast.

I have a list on a document it is really quite simple. I check the rigging at deck level the start of each day's sailing. The stuff up the mast gets checked with binoculars and visits up the mast every few months and before any major trip.

Jerry the rigger is brilliant at getting the message over. The other thing is to work with your rigger to understand your rigging.
