My little 6HP pushes my 21footer along at a reasonable speed. However, to fight wind and tide it is often run at full revs for upto 1.5 hrs. Should I run it at 75% or should I buy a different pitched prop? The only way of fitting a larger engine would mean fitting a beefier bracket.
