Can an Adverc overcharge?

Recently I replaced our battery bank of 3 X 110 A/hr 12 V fla, with 4 X 6 V 225 A/hr, deep cycle fla golf, wired to give 12 V 450 A/hr. I also fitted a Victron Bluetooth shunt, and 2 X 100 Watt solar panels charging the house bank through a Victron MPPT unit.
With the shunt, I can now see that the Adverc cycles between about 14.5 and 13.7 Volts, and continues even long after the battery is 100%.
Is there a danger that this will eventually overcharge the batteries? The previous bank lasted eight years with the Adverc, but thought I would ask opinion of more knowledgeable forumites.
Also, the battery charger is an older Morven 3 stage 30 Amp unit of 2003 vintage - is there any advantage in fitting a Victron programmable 30 amp charger, or any other suggestions?
My usage profile is live aboard from April to September around Ireland and UK, and abroad for the other months with everything off and battery trickle charged by Morvern unit at 13.7 Volts.

Fitted an Adverc about 12 years ago, never been an issue.
Current batteries are 6 x T145, installed in 2017, and in good condition, so I don't think that 14.5 volts once batteries are charged will be an issue.
I think the Adverc is designed to apply a max charging voltage of 14.4 rather than 14.5.

The cycling is better than a standard alternator which just bungs 14 point something into the batteries regardless.
Advercs are adjustable and you can alter the top voltage by opening it up and twirling. ISTR that it is not sensitive ie many turns for a small voltage adjustment. I haven't done it myself but I know of Adverc setting up the voltage for a particular type of battery.
FYI, I rang Adverc in May and they have been taken over and I think the expertise in the battery management system has gone so I think we are on our own from now on but they seem to go on forever.
Which reminds me, I must fit mine ....

Boater Sam, nigel1 and Poecheng, thanks for your replies!
I was pretty sure it would be ok, but good to get confirmation.
Many thanks
