Anyone know where I can get my 907s changed for full ones in Cadiz?

The marina doesn't know anywhere , and Google is telling me that there is a place about 40km away.

The pilot book says "in town" but that's it.

Don't want to be heating beans in the solar shower (again).

All help appreciated.

Put them in a wheelie shopping trolley, and go to the nearest ferretaria (hardware store) or garage. They are usually in garages, but in city, there might be more ferreterias than garages. If they don't stock them, they will tell you where to go next. Take a map.
The bottles are called bombas (bombs!), and they are not rare. To exchange one is to 'cambio' it.
If you are going to be in Spain long, it is well worth getting the bits needed to decant into the camping gaz bottle from the normal household bottles. They cost the same as camping gaz bottles, and a 13Kg household bottle will fill a camping gaz bottle four times.

Not much use to you but Mark of Celtic Marine in Albufeira marina sells refills for 21 euros. Have just been in the ferreteria in Portimao behind the Club Navale, his are 14 euros for 907s.

It's a long walk anywhere from "Cadiz" marina! Anchoring off the small marina just south of the new bridge gives dinghy access to a lorra shops and a garage.
And the fisherman's club there may have better advice.
You could also try in Puerto Sherry or Rota or Chipiona.
At the last marina at Puerto El Rompido (where I'm based), the marineros keep a stock of camping gaz. 18euros I believe.

Getting cooking gas anywhere in south Spain is a PITA now.

If anyone gets an answer on Cadiz and Rota I would be grateful. Want to put it in our pilot. Ta.

Currently using a place near Alcaidesa marina. Bit pricey and stocks limited.

Finally found it.

There is a chandler in town called suministros Antonio Luna.
The address is avenida Andalusia 16.
20€ a refill.

However the girl in the marina told me that it is illegal in Spain to sell refills within city limits. Sounds like bunkum as the pertrol station down the road has loads of other gas bottles
