there are three types: 901, 904, 907.
The butane load for each is
901 --- 0.4 kg
904 --- 1.8 kg
907 --- 2.75 kg
Tare weight is stamped on the bottom of the rim.

Better than paying Camping Gaz rip-off prices. I have seriously thought about it, but I don't use all that much gas so inertia has prevailed. So far.

Apparently, so I hear, if you pay a visit to some of the more frequently mentioned suppliers on this forum, some folk have managed to put together kits which allow them to refill a 907, say, for about £3.50. Of course, it's far better to pay £25+ to your local camping gaz agent, so I'm led to believe??? All complete supposition, obviously.

When we left the uk we were paying £22 per fill for the 907.
This got steadily cheaper the further east we went. Last time we filled up in Crete, 9 euros, good fills as well.
