Really enjoyed Dick Durham's article in Feb's YM. I wonder what sort of speed cambria gets up to with a good breeze? I know that the old clippers could tramp along at 15 plus knots and one was "clocked" at 21! I was also surprized many years ago when I was sailing in the Ijesslmeer. I was on a broad reach in about a F5 and really moving - I thought. I was, though, being overtaken by a large Dutch botter! He must have been doing 9-10 knots. Magnificent! So back to Cambria, does anyone know what sort of speed she will sail at?
