Calorifier Supplier and Chandlers in USA

I'm looking for a chandlers / calorifier supplier / stockist that will deliver nationwide in the States, preferably one that you can recommend for good service and decent prices. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Which part of the US? You might have more luck locally by avoiding the yacht type places in favour of ship chandlers/fishermen's type outfits.

Don't forget the varying sales tax rules!

Fisheries Supply: http://www.fisheriessupply.com/ ....they are giving "free shipping on orders over $99.00 til March 1st. Also, the prices posted on the net are list, but they definitely discount the prices.... If you buy from them, ask them to throw in one of their catalogs.... Probably the best overall marine catalog around!!

I purchase occasionally from all three. All three are competitive, and their service ratings are excellent!! They will ship anywhere....

In the US....a "calorifier" is called a "water heater".

In the US....if you take delivery in a state where the firm does not have a physical presence... like a store...then they will not collect sales tax. You may or may not pay shipping. In some states, if you can prove that you are a vessel in transit...you may not have to pay sales tax...but that can vary from state to state.

Before doing business with West Marine....I would do business with the other three I gave links to. Probably pay less all around with one of the three! I know I save money buying from them...even though there is a WM store within 5 miles of me.
