Jools, I've just watched your 2003 dolphins video from another post. Why do you hang your outboard on the pulpit? Just wondering because I would expect that it would be very exposed to a thorough drowning in that position.

Can't be too much of a problem, because its still there in 2005.

Maybe that's a knackered old one, as a decoy which doesn't matter if it gets nicked. The decent working one, is locked away elsewhere.

Initially cos we did not have aft pushpits and I have never got out of the habit. Plus she is quite heavy in the aft so I do what I can to keep the weight from there when I can.

The exposure so far doesn't seem to have hurt, I dunno, it has always been done that way, maybe I should move it aft on to my new pushpits!
