I too would like to paint my deck this weekend in Poole, so if everyone in that area could make sure they leave a house with an umbrella to make sure it doesn't rain I would be obliged.

I launched last weekend. So no problem about the rain dance, just keep the wind gods happy as I want to have s good look at the rig.

Sounds as if we should all head to Portsmouth/Gosport/Hayling as planned then meet up in the pub when it starts raining

Wayne - you didnt tell us why you wanted a dry weekend... I just hope you werent involved in running the Emsworth Boat Jumble on sunday. Every vehicle on the field had to be towed out of the mud bath by tractor - and that was when the stall holders were arriving. By opening time the mud rivalled that in the harbour nearby, and the event was cancelled, even though it was a grand morning!

So that's where it was!

Happened to see one big direction-only sign outside Chichester, followed it, then could see no others. Turned back and continued our original journey to the boat.

Very glad we missed it by the sound of things - every cloud has a silver lining!
