I tried to calibrate my Navman 3150 wind speed the other week as it seemed to be slightly under reading. Followed the manuals instructions but the display would not allow me to increase the calibrated wind speed above 2 knots. Then after a couple of attempts it would not allow me to increase the windspeed above 0 knots! Wind direction still works fine. Now windspeed permanently reads 0 knots.

I suppose the anemometer may have given up the ghost at the precise moment I tried to calibrate but it seems somewhat of a coincidence.

Has anyone on the forum successfully calibrated one of these instruments before or is there a way to perform a factory reset to get back to factory calibration. Better a slightly undereading wind speed than no windspeed at all ...

Have found the factory reset key sequence in the manual. Hopefully this will reset my duff calibration and all will be well. If not it will be a trip up the mast with a spare masthead unit that I have lying about somewhere.
