The coffer dam south of Kytra Locks was removed last weekend and the locks at Fort Augustus were full on Monday.
However there were still big cranes out and yesterday they were busy working on the coffer dam just above the road bridge.
This morning I saw a yacht heading down Loch Ness by Lochend and by 16.00 Aberchalder Bridge was manned and they were locking through at Fort Augustus.
But then closure again when they install the plastic gates in next couple of years.
Pity they didnt start the work at the end of October 2018 as opposed to January 2019!
