The Russian Tavern
Brother-In-Law and I had a great night in the Russian Tavern at Port Bannatyne, Isle of Bute. Excellent beer, food and an extremely eccentric host.
Local langoustines were nothing short of fantastic.
Not cheap but great fun.

Been a few times recently - absolutely brilliant.
Good, simple food (for simple souls !!!!!!).
Only problem seems to be its always busy - you must book).
The Whitehouse at Lochaline is also great - fish platter is huge.
