Hi I have fitted Vetus hydraulic steering to my boat, using flexible plastic 10mm OD/ 6mm ID Vetus plastic pipe, how important are bulkhead glands, and can someone recommend a cheap version that will do the job - I'm thinking electrical cable glands from Screwfix, or possibly rubber grommets (although they mostly seem to be for a bulkhead thickness of 5mm rather than the 8-10mm I need)
Or other suggestions ?
thanks
