I've just cut some new cabin sole (Teak & Holly Ply) to smarten up interior of my boat. Anyone got any idea what I should use to seal it?

I am worried that yacht varnish would be slippy under foot. Teak Oil would be no better I'm guessing.

Any ideas?

I just varnish mine with any diamond hard product. It looks great and isn't slippy at all. Its also easy to recover once it starts looking grubby or scratched. be careful if ever you sand it, the veneer is quite thin so minimal or fine paper sanding is best. dont use heavy grades
