Another intended winter project is to put some lining on the inside of the forward cabin which is currently plain fibreglass (the inside of the cabin roof).
On cold days/nights if someone sleeps condensation forms and then drips.
The main cabin area is lined with thin ply and some soft material, so here's condensation doesn't form.
The surface to be covered is relatively smooth, but curved and odd shapes. I guess I'd have to cut the lining to suit. I don't fancy a plywood system.

I think there's likely to be a self adhesive material suitable for this purpose, but don't know what its called nor where to get it?

Any suggestions for this.

Hmmm, camping mat, interesting. I need to do this job too.

What did you do around your windows?

I thought about camping mat too but I wonder if it'll be too thick, especially round the windows.

I saw some laminate floor underlay in B&Q that looks to be similar stuff but only 2mm thick, I was going to put some evo-stick on a bit to see if it dissolves, not done it yet though.

Cabin Lining materials

There's a company called "The Range" at Elson,Gosport where I've seen some vinyl material for headlining that does not have the foam backing, but a kind of tissue material similar to the cheaper carpet backing. I would use the spray adhesive if directly to cabin top and sides. There were two or more variations of surface pattern and I intend to get some for my boat soon, though I'll go for the hardboard/plywood backing option so I can get to any winch/electrical fixings if necessary. The material is about 1.5 metres wide and on a roll so there need not be very much wastage.I don't remember the price per metre.

Another source will be Kayospruce who are very good with advice and delivery;they are at Segensworth West,Fareham, on the Industrial estate there.(worth getting their catalogue for canvas,Dacron et al and fittings for canopies etc. No connection just satisfied customer.

As an aside, I've used some very thin carpet material for the sides of the forecabin using the spray adhesive and it has remained dry and warm, if resting on the hull sides when sleeping there, and was about £3 metre from Carpetright. Just a kind of rubbery seal to the back which took the glue OK when fitting.
