Hi
My boat is lined with a ribbed carpet type material that was obviously put on before bulkheads and cabinets were fitted. Due to its age (nearly 30) it is starting to deteriorate. It still looks ok but when touched it turns to powder. I would like to replace this but was wondering if the old stuff could be sealed and a new lining bonded on top. If anyone could offer advice or experiences, or even the name of a decent trimmer near the upper Thames, it would be most welcome.
