I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to output the actual chart from a laptop running Open CPN with C-Map charts to a Simrad CE32 DGPS (or other ) chart plotter that uses the C-Map cartridges ?
Or maybe there's another way to send the chart to the plotter, bypassing the need for the cartridges and even the laptop !!
I have all the C-Map charts I require on the laptop but only a couple of cartridges, and none for where the boat is at the moment.
Don't panic, I have paper charts and a Yeoman plotter (Top bit of kit ) and a handheld GPS with NMEA output but I like to think ahead. You never know what might happen !!
