The price is wrong, their website was also wrong when I looked.

The USB version is £125 direct from C-Map, bought one a couple of months ago. Pretty pleased with it although having a few problems with the user cartridge on my Raymarine gear.

If you order from the US then you will have to pay duty and VAT unless to are going to the states, I know what you mean I was over there at Easter and saw Garmin stuff for sale in Wallmart, Kissimee Florida GPS 12 was 99 dollars!.

Be careful to check the spec of what you do buy I recently bought winchart to run on my pc and Ipaq only to find that winchart although sold to work on win ME and 98 will only run on windows 95. Which mightily P.. me off as I wanted to run my plan my navigation on my laptop which runs win ME.

What sort of probs with cartridge?

I'm using C-map with Raymarine Radar/Plotter and it's ok except no drying heights, which means you've got to stay within chart datum.

Anyone know if you can extract drying heights from C-map?

Problems are with the user cartridge not the chart cartridge. With the user cartridge you can plot all your routes and waypoints at home, load onto the cartridge and when you get to the boat just pop the cartrdige in and load the data.
Great theory.....

In practice this overwrites the existing waypoints so you need to keep a single master file - not a major problem, just annoying. But very annoying is that if you have waypoints in a route they are not available in the waypoint list for some strange reason.

Other problem is that you can't read the user cartridges over the HSB2 on a different unit even though the man at Raymarine told me you could.
