Anyone know anything about these?
How are they offshore?
Apparently they fitted with twin 120 hp Ford Lehman engines, also interested in fuel consumption @ about 1800rpm.

Had a Eurobanker Trawler yacht for a number of years. Brought her cheap, spent a lot of time and money on doing her up and had a very nice boat. They are very similiar to the C-Kip.
Mine had the 80 hp Ford engines which were extremly reliable. Did about 4.5 gals per hour at a steady 8 knots. Would do max of 10 knots. Your C-Kip ought to make 12 with clean bottom and cruise at 10 turning about 5 to 6 gals per hour. Good sea boat we crossed the channel many times in her. Because of the flat stern they are a bugger in an aft sea. High sided so did roll a bit on beam seas but always felt well within its capabilities. We did get caught by a very large wave breaking beam on just off Plymouth. She laid on her port side with water well over the scuttles, my heart was in my mouth for a few seconds but she came back up and carried on as if nothing had happened.
Lots of space on board, a real comfortable boat to own. However it has to be an ownership of love as the maintance of teak decks, wood frames and rails, etc, is a bit like painting the Forth bridge. It never seems to end. These boats look great if loved but look rubbish when not cared for. I would say go for it as long as you have a good survey report and you are prepared to spend 5 hours working on it for every hour you cruise. It all depends where your priorities lie.
