Perhaps there is more to this. Imagine the infant we know today as Byron being dragged, dripping, ashore from this stricken vessel and no-one being able to pronounce his Greek name, they name him after the vessel itself. Huh?Huh?

I doubt Byron was born in the usual sense. More of an elemental being who has been in existence since the beginning of time.

Come to think of it, we don't hear much about Neptune these days?
