Spoke to an EA boaty chap at Abingdon lock on Monday morning as they got ready to go off and sun themselves on there boat sorry patrol ...anyways he said that they had targeted the ones around Teddinton a while ago and they would be going to court and if fines were not paid then they would be looking to remove boats .....sceptical face.....
He said most of the boats around Tesco`s Reading had licences which i find hard to believe but i assume they have checked them??? .
I pointed out to him that a old fibreglass jobby that was around Tescos with what appeared a Chelsea flag in the front window had amazingly appeared 500mtrs above Abingdon on Sunday all without the aid of an engine and had a couple of deckchairs on the bank outside with no visible licence showing ....his reply was that they were due to patrol downstream that day......
Doubt they will ever be as proactive as BW but happy to be proved wrong Steve.

To my knowledge the red "object" hard by the railway bridge at Baths Island in Windsor has been there at least since May last year, and probably a lot longer.
