Have a hold full of sails. Going roller reefing (just ordered ProFurl as Forumites seemed to like it best).

Do I get rid of/sell all the sails except storm and spinnaker, or have some adapted (they currently have hanks) to fit the R/R? Will probably add a cruising chute anyway but this just won't take up the space of what we have at present.

We don't race (yeah right unless they're smaller or similar - but you probably know what I mean).

If the sails are in good condition, take one (genoa) to a sailmaker and get him to check it over and give you a price to add a luff rope, its worth getting foam added to the luff too, helps keep the shape as its rolled up.

Might help keep the cost down, you will of course lose a little in the size of the sail.

Or keep one to set flying? on the spinnaker halyard to run downwind with 2 foresails

That's a good idea, works well too. Well I would say that wouldn't I, cos that's what I am doing /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
