I have been offered a 1996 Azura 21 with Suzuki 115hp outboard with 55 hrs on the clock, she is in good condition, the asking price is 8.5k is this a good deal?

Don,t know what an"Azura" is. Is that the Make or the Model? Someone on here will probably know /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Have you really thought about what you want. Where you want to cruise, where and how much the mooring, planning, semi or displacemet. Type of use, cruising range to where, diesel or petrol/running costs/reliability. How many may be carried onboard. how long living aboard, comfort level expected, Water/battery/fuel/capacity/range, CE Category/maximum sea state. All these things and more you need to be sure of before looking at specific boat types.

I don't think you'll find people here know much about the Azura brand but a quick Google found a 1996 Azura 18 with the same engine you mention for £6700. For £8500 you can get some very nice sporty boats..have a look at "Boats for sale" at the top of this forum. There seems to be quite a lot in the Broker section for the money you are talking about.
