I'm looking at buying my first boat. Fairly small and cheap but before I commit I want to make sure I can insure it (marina I want to stay in requirement plus better safe than sorry).
However the seller has no idea what make/model or year the boat is and it has no HIN. This is making getting a quote for insurance difficult.
I've been searching with my wife to find similar looking boats but nothing quite the same.
Seems "Helle Spitsgatter" or "Nidelv 24" keeps cropping up so I'm guessing Dutch or Norwegian design?
It's 18ft and the engine manual is for a nanni diesel 2.60H/HE dated October 1987 so may help as a clue.
