I don't know the contents of the RYA contract, but in Holland the use of the 'Hiswa' rules is quite common.
This is a sort of standard agreement, in which do's, don'ts and rights for both parties are stated, which is in most cases used as a base for the actual contract.
I do not know whether they have a standard contract.
Maybe you can find something about it on www.hiswa.nl, there is an english section as well.
we bought our dehler in holland - at the time some useful stuff on RYA site and another forum chap had done the same and gave us some tips - pm me and perhaps we could chat some time - certainly we found the process straightforward but we did use a UK broker to handle all the paperwork for us which made us feel more secure about it all,
We purchased our past yacht in Holland and used their own paperwork - it was all in English and not at all complex. Used a local surveyor who was part of McKenzie Ward group - also excellent report done including engine tests plus test sail etc.
Only hiccup came on funds transfer but was all sorted - if I can give any further advice don't hesitate to PM me.

I bought in Holland from a private seller - both of us agreed to use a local broker to handle the paperwork (they provided the contract), and approached one of the HISWA brokers in the locality. The broker recommended a surveyor, I'll pass on his details if you wish.
Their english was excellent, and the paperwork was fairly straightforward - although read the small print - check that you have ample time to get it surveyed before it declared 'sold' - I had to get the date amended in my case because of the delay of working from overseas etc.
I bought in Holland with no problems through a Dutch broker who used the MCA English Bill of Sale.Survey was by a HISWA surveyor. All very straightforward & in my opinion the broker was much more competent than I have experienced in UK.Do a search & you should find plenty of info on R2R.Boats appear to be better value in Holland.(Mickshep on R2R was very helpful)
