I placed an order on Monday 4th august for a Lift the Dot die set that I've been unable to get in the UK. Than abhor later I decided to add a staple gun to the order so I emailed customer support to ask how to go about it. Within ten minutes they replied saying cancel the order for a full refund and then place the new order. I did so and received an email saying that it had all been processed and that I would receive the refund within a few days.
Well, everything went exactly as they said.
The refund arrived and the parcel of goodies arrived the following Monday although it was a ten day Fedex service.
There was no mention of minimum order amounts and the customer support couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient.
Using the staple gun and postage as an example the quote from Solent Sewing on their annual bulk order including UK postage to me was £112.32. The total from Sailrite including $49.95 international postage came to £89.51.
This should close any worries about minimum orders or whether they will ship to the UK.
I'm very pleased with the price and the service especially as they have various tools that are their own design and not available elsewhere.
