Hi All,
I am a UK Citizen living in Turkey. I have been considering buying a a boat in Turkey which has a German flag. The boat was made in 1969, so I understand it is tax free. I have a few questions regarding the procedure:
1. What do I need to do to register it in the UK so it has a British Flag? I understand I need the boat papers & the sale contract. Do I need any paperwork from Germany since it has a German flag?
2. Can my brother have a share in the boat even though he is a Turkish Citizen? How do we go about doing that?
3.How long would all the procedure take?
