For those of us who frequent North Wales and outlying areas it looks like it will be a busy weekend, With both the boat show, The Boat jumble and the Weather looking to put up a good showing to boot (Fingers Crossed). It will be a bit of a juggle to get it all in, with possibly a return to work on Monday to recover from what will have been an enjoyable weekend.

Just remember to take the shorts with the deep pockets and you pair of short arms:)

Have fun looking at what you can not afford and keep a smile on whilst doing it!

Yeh good innit:)
We attended both shows last year, it was quite a task!
Fair play to the Peeps who organise the North Wales Boat Show for persevering with the 3 day event
The weather previously has not been to kind:rolleyes:
Plus the 'Jumble' peeps
Last years attendance was poor from the 'Stand' point of view but the Public seemed to like it
Pity the Organisers of both can't agree to stagger the dates though.
All or nuffink innit!!
So this year we are too busy to attend both but will make an appearance at the Jumble
Fact is it cant start without us!
Cos our man Dave is the medical man fer the day
So don't go feeling whoosey at the prices an that or get heat stroke:rolleyes:
Cos our man Dave will 'attend' to you
An his stretcher is made from a cast off avon searider 'a' frame an he drives it a 30 kts everywhere
However if he gets a decent bid on it at the Jumble youl have ter hobble or whatever to the Ambulance :D

Kwaka.........Thanks for the Rib trip today I never knew it was possible to get frostbite and white finger in July.

Had to stop at the Golden Cod for a reviving bag of chips. Anyone who knows the Golden Cod (Caernarfon) will know its not the greatest fish and chip vendor

Sun back out in Pwllheli.............beer ok in yacht club

Cheers

ps sorry for thread drift

For the best Fish & Chips in Caernarfon go to Ainsworths. Head out from the square towards the Royal Celtic hotel & it's on yer left, past the kebab shop  and the chippy by the bus depot. It's more than well worth the extra few yards walked & is frequented by the locals rather than by the tourists.

Rushie, Harstonwood checked out yer craft today
I explained the 'rubbing marks' were not of my doing or My 'students'
I think H believed me!!
Anyway
We didn't tarry too long
On the way in on a falling tide
We saw a yacht fast aground on the wrong side of the east cardinal just off the yacht club
I think it was a 'Local'
Oops!!

The technique, apparently, is to aim straight at searush midships, and bounce off. Coriolis effect or sumething turns rib round ready to leave the harbour :D

The customers seemed to enjoy it

Not seen bounce technique in RYA books

Comments about chippys noted, being a Yorkshireman, if it ain't fried in dripping, I,m not buying! yesterday was an emergency, after surviving the sea survival course I mean Rib ride

Cheers
