Busted Eberspacher

I accidently turned off the boats 12v yesterday while the eberspacher was still running, and even though I remembered immediately and turned it back on, it seems i've bust it. The fan is still running, but i'm just getting thick, light grey smoke coming out of the exhaust, which I assume is unburnt atomised fuel.

Any ideas?

sounds like you've tripped out one its resettable fuses. My mikuni does that if I forget to shut it down properly, the eber's probably the same, have a quick look at the manual, it could be easily sorted.

Should be wired direct to battery through it's own fuse, NOT through the isolator switch for this very reason.
Don't know which model it is,some will start up eventually, modern ones should give a diagnostic code.
If it does start, give it a good hot run then rewire it properly.
