Bus no 39 first stop "Isle oh Uist"

Easier to use the DUKW as in London (google london ducktours).

Now, and by way of thread drift, did they not design and build the first DUKW in under 60 days. Lots of info on Wiki. In the fifties there was one used to get across to St Michael's Mount.

I think she would be for mill-ponds only........

Did you see on the video, there was that several seconds of drifting between initial floating and the propulsion start up. Imagine being caught by the wind and blown sideways...no running around the side decks to get the fenders out.

£700000.00  could buy an aussie aliminium cat for that ;)

Quite quickly after a bit of coaching

Its when the driver opens the doors at the next bus stop that scares me :)

I remember in the very early 80's when Stagecoach first appeared in Scotland, doing motorway services (they appear to be every where now), there was controversy over the speed they did.

I guess they are still waving the marketing flag...:)
