i now have a 120Ah fuse at the battery terminal below - sufficient to start my outboard - fuse installed - below is an older pic

three smaller connections, all fused nearby out of view of the camera, for the two smaller wires at the top ( yellow crimps could be better) and larger bottom one to be used for the new DC/DC victron box

the DC/DC is a 30A version - is a 30A spade fuse suitable ?

need to install a busbar with fuses to resolve the above 4 wire mess

suggestions please - tnx

There is a selection here: 12V solar panels charging kits for caravans, motorhomes, boats, yachts, marine

The two yellow crimps are pants, the top one looks like 1.5mm wire in a 4mm crimp, the other one isn't much better. Neither have been crimped with the correct ratchet crimpers, you should re-do these Simon.

The bottom one needs re-doing as well, with an insulated crimp.

The DC-DC charger should be fused close to each battery, use 10mm cable for up to 2m length, 16mm thereafter. Fuses need to be 60A, i would use midi fuses. You can possibly use blade fuses for the two thinner wires, depending on the actual size of the wires.
