Bursledon Regatta - Anyone going

ok I will be there sat, go on holiday sun, I normally sit on the boat and watch the fireworks, but had the boat taken to the med 2 months ago, so will be standing on the pontoon this time, always a great day out. The effort put into the boats is fantastic.

We'll be leaving Ocean Belle up at Foulkes, but will be partying on our Raggie friends Bavaria 47 'South Point II' on A pier at Moody's (sorry Premier). Will arrive on 'Kita' our scruffy little RIB. Nice to say hello to some of you guys we missed at the Cowes BBQ in May when Archie was poorly.

He will be looking after OB.

Lisa / Gary - What pier ? Our pals are on the evens side of E trot - the first long pontoon trot at the bridge end, their boat is near the corner so we generally get a cracking front row seat. I'll come round and introduce myself, as I'm intrigued about this jubilee clip of yours (Gary)

Never been before we are all looking forward to it , kids cant wait we are down Friday to monday ,again quite lucky our pontoon is right in the mix .prob do iow sunday night first time there as well

Looks like we'll be within one or two pontoon fingers then Gary. Bavaria 47 with a very sociable lot aboard. I think their berth must be 46 or 48, almost neighbours !

Make sure you have your dinghy ready for the candle light procession. Gardening gloves for the kids are recommended, as the wax is hot when it drips. Also marks the dinghy a bit, but great fun. Life jackets for all and a torch on each dinghy mandatory. A couple of quid per candle.

Perhaps I should bake a cake ! (Except I haven't a clue how to bake a cake !). Will have a beer though !

Looking forward to it. Generally a cracking night.

E50....never mind a good laugh....I think it might get messy lol
L
:)

ESO? had to google that one for internet slang. it's come up with these options:

* ESO East Side Oakland (California)
* ESO Elder Scrolls Online (gaming)
* ESO Ensemble Studios Online
* ESO Equipment Smarter than Operator
* ESO Equipment Superior to Operator
* ESO Ether Saga Online (gaming)
* ESO Evil Shop Owner
* ESO Extended Sexual Orgasm

Now which one is it considering the reference to things getting messy :) :) :)
