Burnham Week BBQ on the wall again?

Full Circle will be mingling with the rump of the Class 6 fleet during the first weekend of Burnham Week, which is August Bank Holiday weekend, the 28th August.

We shall be setting fire to the sea wall in the revetment near the Rice & Cole's crane, as we usually do, in time honoured BBQ fashion, around 6pm.



Anyone else doing a bit of Burnham Week this year?

Never done Burnham week, or any other foreign regatta come to it. Would imagine moorings are ramjammed. How would one go about joining in?

Better off coming up in the dinghy from Bridgemarsh?? (notwithstanding outboard problems?!)

Lisa, normally plenty of room on Rice & Coles moorings, just pick one up, and come ashore in the dinghy. They don't (or didn't) have a charging structure, but offer them a few quid for the night.

If BR does attend, it will be the usual last-minute entry.

Have to see how things pan out work-wise. Then, there will be the traditional scrabble for willing and not-so-willing shanghai'd crew.

If last year is anything to go by, it will all be decided the week before.
