Burnham Area Boat Repair Recommendations Please…

I’d really appreciate any recommendations for any boat repair persons/services who aren’t exclusive to one boat yard and who travel locally to carry out work (in my case some keel joint work).

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

You will need to check with your yard as to their admittance of outside engineers. Burnham YH have lots of staff and will discourage outsiders.

That is a fair point actually, makes sense. Though I have been trying to use the service of my particular yard but getting a call-back or speaking with anyone is proving a challenge in itself.

another vote for Althorne Marine but the work they have done for me is engineering and electrical. but they are excellent and fair in their pricing.

might mention that often a Yard will make a charge is outside contractors are used on a boat in their yard ; some yards do not, so well worth checking out early on
